‘Sewing Susan’ needle and threader pack dating to the 1940s/50s containing 49 silver eye needles and a threader for general household sewing and darning. The needles are nickel-plated and rustproof. The kit was made in Japan for the Great Southern Corporation of Memphis in the United States. The kits were made over a number of years with the cover design changing to reflect different hairstyles and fashions and even the artwork depicted on the wall behind.
