The Chinese writing on the front of this plate, we presume, advises us it is a picture of the Great Wall of China. Decorative Plates such as this one have been collected by people for a long time as souvenirs of their travels.
The plate has been fitted with a hook for hanging the plate on a wall but it is also stood on a plate display stand. The reverse of the plate advises it was made in the country of China and it is for decorative use only.
