Description:

This was one of the early mixes which required only minimal preparation and cooking, saving housewives time while producing tasty meals.

This one only requires the addition of sugar and water to the sponge topping. The fruit was already prepared in a separate sachet. Then the fruit was placed in a basin and the sponge topping added on top of the fruit, then placed in the oven for 25-30 minutes.

These packets were also available as Lemon Meringue tart, Apple and Blackberry Crumble and Apple Sponge puddings.

Nabisco are still making food items today such as cheese crackers, cereals, and the well-known Oreo biscuits.
