Description:
First produced in 1963 the Chatter Telephone is an iconic toy, and one of Fisher Price’s best-selling products.
A toy for toddlers, it has a smiling face and would roll its eyes and ring as it was pulled along, and children could use the rotary dial which made a bell sound.
Originally the telephone’s body and wheels were made of wood, but later, and in this example, were made of plastic.
In 2003, the Chatter Telephone was listed as one of the 100 most memorable toys of the 20th century by the Toy Industry Association.
